                     ~  Ronald Alphonsus Martin ~

Please join us to honor and celebrate the life of our loving dad and grandfather, Ron Martin, who lived life to the fullest while also being a guiding light to family and many friends through out his exciting, eventful journey called life.

                                   Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.
Amen.

DARREL HUME Ron Martin and I had a true friendship. Our relationship began in the mid 1970's when I was a Men's Clothing Buyer for Nordstrom, and Ron represented a clothing manufacturing company. Through Ron's perseverance, we developed a mutually beneficial business relationship. That association led to a personal friendship that endured over the years. We both experienced our challenging times, but we always had the support of one another. In those early days we spent time together in New York at the NY Athletic Club, weekends on Fire Island, where he spent many of his early days, and meals out discussing business strategies and sharing personal experiences about family. He loved his kids, Christopher and Claudia, and eventually grand kids. Whenever we spoke, he would bring me up to date on their personal development as careers and families grew. Ron Martin was truly a unique individual. He was hardworking, creative, and dedicated to his friends and family. I will miss that guy! May God bless the loved ones he left behind, and may they have Peace in knowing that, because of his faith, they will see him again in Eternity.
