Carole Ann Wisdom

May 26, 1950 - July 31, 2022

Carole Ann Wisdom passed away July 31st. 2022.  She was a devoted Mom, Grandmother, Sister, and Life Partner.  Carole was 72.

Carole was born in Iowa on May 5th, 1950. She was raised in Texas, but moved to California in the early 80's where she lived for most of her life in Southern California.  She is survived by her Life Partner Michael, her son's Lance and Mark, her sister Sharyn, and her brother's Dan and Randy, her grandchildren Madison, Carson, Austin, and Tess, her nieces and nephew Tracy, Mandy, Preston, and Natalie.  Carole is proceeded in death by her mother Betty Jean Tucker and father W.R (Bill) Tucker.

Carole was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her sons and grandchildren  more than anything. They were the center of her world in whom she took boundless pride and exuberant joy. Carole was always the light in the room, the spark in the conversation, and shoulder we all leaned on.  Sharing in her life was Michael, her longtime love and life partner of thirty-one years whom she loved to the ends of the earth.

Carole's life was full of love, life, and adventure. She loved the gathering of family, game nights in which she almost always won and taught all us how to lose gracefully- especially Michael.  The Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays were treasured times in which she would amaze us with her cooking and bless us with her warm smile. She spent time with her friends and extended family at Valley View whom she treasured and loved.

While many obituaries list academics, jobs and the like, we think the spirit that best describes her is one of independence, grace, and love.  Carole had a beautiful voice and a free spirit that was unmatched.

In Carole's absence, she leaves us with so many beautiful gifts. To her family she leaves kindness, happiness, and love.  To her sons she leaves a sardonic wit, a roadmap to raise their children, and hope of a beautiful life.  To her grandchildren she leaves unfathomable gratitude and love only a grandmother can give.  To Michael, she leaves her undying love.

Carole lived a life filled with gratitude and love and will be sorely missed by those whose lives and hearts she touched throughout her lifetime.

A Celebration of Life in her honor will be scheduled in the fall of 2022.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Carole's name to the American Cancer Society.
