Kenneth (Kenny) Paul Stormont

May 13, 1958 - March 01, 2023

Our dearly beloved Kenny has passed on from this world.
He was a talented photographer and a just plain funny guy. He will be missed by family and friends.
He was born in Janesville, Wisconsin and grew up in East Bakersfield, California. He attended Williams Elementary, Compton Jr. High, East High School and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His career in the aeronautics electrical field lasted 25 years.
He passed peacefully in his sleep after a long illness. He was where he wanted to be in Hemet at his dear friend Jill’s house with her family.
Like our Father Richard, Kenny had a great love for all of the little kids in his life. He photographed them and was a wonderful uncle to many little ones. Christmas and Halloween were very special to him and he baked cookies, and decorated for those holidays to make it special for all who knew him.
He leaves behind six brothers and sisters. He was the second child of Richard and Jean Stormont.  His brothers and sisters he leaves behind are, Mary, Joseph, Walter, Elsie, Carol and Julie.
We would like to especially thank his dear friend Jill Kerr and her family for everything that they have done for him while he was with them these last few years. He especially loved Jill’s grandchildren Draven and Aria who were very special to him.
Also, his life long friend James White who stayed by his side through sickness and health his entire life. He did so much to help Kenny when he became ill. We are truly grateful for his friendship.
We will have a celebration of life at a later date.

Reanna Taylor My heat is broken. You were one of my best friends that I have ever had. You would drop anything for me and my kids. I will miss all of your stories you told me. I am so happy that you became apart of my family. Literally… You were are family. You were the first person that I told I was pregnant to besides Jarrod. You gave me Draven’s first gift. The kids loved you so much.

Draven Lang Kenny was in a lot of ways very influential in my childhood. He always motivated me to be kind and a bit of a joker. We loved his presence dearly and he will be missed by all who knew of Kenneth Stormont. Thumb Buddies for life Ken. <3

aria loves games Me and my brother Draven can’t be more grateful towards him. A lot of are childhood was with him doing all different activities. He would walk us to school carve pumpkins with us make cookies etc. Even though he wasn’t our uncle in blood we always consider him family. I really love and appreciate everything this man has done for us. Truly one of the sweetest uncles anyone could ask for.
