David Oscar Blair. aka *Dave the Viking*
David was born May 6 1950 in Minneapolis MN. Son of Mary Virginia Crook Blair and Cecil Holmes Blair. Brother to Patricia Blair, Charlotte Blair, Gini Castellano and Cecil Blair Jr. Uncle to Tyrone and Sean Tindall. Zoe Shelton Flamenbaum., Andy and Debra Castellano, Tiffany Boyd. Cousin to many wonderful loving family members that David stayed in touch with.
David was a Teamster for 45 years,. He worked jobs from running the catering trucks on location to driver to the stars and then on to driving every kind of heavy equipment.
He was a unique person and lived with passion. He was an original Deadhead, fisherman extraordinaire, kite flyer, pyrotechnic wizard, big tipper, fabulous chef, world traveler, dear brother and friend.
David passed away June 6 at St Joseph Medical Center He spent 40 days after a major stroke and worked hard to recover. His spirit was positive and intact. God called him home and ended his physical journey so his spirit is free to embark on his next voyage.
The family will hold a memorial to remember him at a future date. Looking forward to all his tribe joining in a celebration of his life.
