Todd L. Porter, 53 lived in Fremont for last several years has passed away due to a rare medical condition, CIDP.  It was degenerative and he had complications from it.

He was born in San Francisco on February 4th, 1970.  He graduated from Novato High School.  He had an AS from Heald College.  He lived most of his life in Novato, CA.  He was never married.

Todd had several jobs through his life that he enjoyed very much.  He served in the Navy for 3 years as an E-4 Third Class Petty Officer.  He worked for several companies doing dental equipment repair and/or equipment delivery:  Advanced Medical Equipment, Henry Schein Dental, Joerns Healthcare and IQVIA.   He also worked at The Viking in Novato, CA as a bartender where he made many wonderful friends.

Todd was a great talker; he could chat with just about anyone and make them laugh.  Everyone we have spoken to since his passing states he was always upbeat and such an amazing person.  He could be stubborn but also was honest and loyal.  

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Kaye Porter; Brother: Mark Porter, his wife Sally Porter, their three daughters; Calisse Weber (Jeff, Karah and Alayna, Sarah Porter (Joey) and Katie Porter (Grayson, Scarlet and Rose).  His Sister; Sheila Perryman, her two children; Kyle and Madison Perryman.  As well as other cousins around the United States.

Todd will be missed by many and aways loved by his family and all that knew him.

At this time, we do not know the exact plan for a celebration of life but may hold one in Novato, CA in a month or so for his friends and family.  TBD
