Kim was the best person I have ever met. She was kind , generous and funny , even though she couldn't tell or get jokes. She loved music and animals. Although she didn't have any children she loved her nieces and nephews and of course her friends and family. I don't think she realized how many people loved her dearly.
Kim was multi talented. She painted, drew and was a self taught guitar player. She made great soup and would share it with our elderly neighbors. Her working history spanned cosmetology, purchasing, optometry where she operated her own eye glass store. She also had a real estate license just for fun.
She was not a big fan of funerals or memorial services. So I will honor her wishes. If anyone feels it necessary please donate to the animal charity of your choice for her.

Bernhard Heitz Kim, I rmemebr the day I met you first. You were in your car, sun roof open looking at me on the balcony of my new appartement. My new neighbor. And you asked if I were to live there or renting it out. Many moons later, many dinners, bbqs or restaurant visits later, many laughs later, much time spent together I moved back to Germany. But we never lost touch. Now you are gone, and I feel a void. I am so sorry you joined the ranks of so many other great people. Too young for certain. I hope you watch over Elmo, who sure came to greet you at the gates of heaven. See you some day... we'll have Hawaiian Pork Roast again, I am sure!

Cheryl DaVeiga My old friend Kim-- We had so many adventures together, we sang together, we walked to South Mountain Reservation together from Whippany. I moved to Tucson and went to the University of Arizona because you convinced me the desert was gorgeous--and you were there! We listened to music in your living room..The Allman Brothers Eat a Peach album will always remind me of you--Blue Sky. Sugar Magnolia (the Dead) was one of your favorites, and I can see you smiling and singing it. One of my first harmony partners. I haven't seen you in a long time, but your passing has rattled me in a deep way. Such an important friend in my life...rest in peace...fly with the angels💜😇
