John Gerold Psaila

January 04, 1951 - November 11, 2023

John Psaila passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2023 surrounded  by his loved ones.  John fought a year long battle with non smoking lung cancer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hilda Psaila.  Survived  by his wife, Lisa, of fifty years; his daughters, Marcy Psaila and Danielle (Psaila) Grey and son in law, John Grey.  Grandchildren John & Trinity Rose Grey.  Brother, Phil Psaila (Patricia Psaila), Mary (Psaila) Varner and nieces and nephews, Brenda & Jason Widrin (great niece and nephew, Tino and Bella Widrin), Olivia & George Varner, Sandra Toulouse and Gerald Collins.

John was in the US Army Reserves and worked for the City of San Bruno for 40 years.  He loved helping people and knew the underground  plumbing system like the back of his hand.  Over the years John had many friends throughout the city.  He enjoyed watching  the 49ers and Giants.  He loved gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Monica Psaila My dear cousin John, was a decent man; a loving and devoted husband and father, to his wife Lisa and daughters, Marcy and Danielle. He was funny at family gatherings. R.I.P. John.
