Eugene M Ledo Jr. fondly known as Gene or Geno of Esparto CA passed away at home on December 21, 2023, after battling Epithelioid Sarcoma for the past 8 years.

 

Gene was born in Oahu, Hawaii on March 17, 1957, to Eugene M Ledo Sr. and Frances C. Ledo.  He graduated from North Salinas High School in 1975 and attended Hartnell Community College. He worked at Solano County as a Traffic Maintenance Supervisor for 17 years.
  

Gene enjoyed playing his guitars, watching his favorite sport teams (NBA-Warriors, MLB-San Francisco Giants, NFL-Pittsburg Steelers and San Francisco 49ers).  He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 
 

He is survived by his mother Frances, his wife of 18 years Carrie, his son Nick and wife Sara and their children (Anna, Jackson and Jonah), his daughter Ashley and her daughters (Brianna and Brooklyn), his stepdaughter Sheena and her husband John and their sons (Adam and Costa), his stepson Sean and husband Neal and his daughters (Hilary and Jenny).  He is also survived by his brother Chris and wife Gladys, Mike and wife Rita, Pat and wife Debra and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his father Eugene Sr.

 

A Mass ceremony will be held at St. Anthony Parish, 511 Main Street
