On October 28, 1953 Cynthia Ann Berg was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Her parents were Dr. John Berg and Winifred (Fitzpatrick) Berg. "Cyndi" was the youngest of 5 children. She had two  sisters, Sally (deceased) and is survived by Susan and her two older brothers, Dennis  and John. She attended school in Sacramento at St. Philomene's grammar school, Loretto High School and American River Community College. She was married to Jim Saizan in 1972 and in 1973, she gave birth to her only child, Daria Alisha Saizan, who currently resides in Sacramento. In 1976, she moved to San Francisco, California to pursue her love of the creative arts, and became a successful model and makeup artist.  She then changed her name to Syndi for creative purposes. Syndi was very gifted in dance, music and art, and was an avid supporter of various musicians, astrology and numerology. Her later career consisted of being a security officer and a caregiver. She was a social butterfly and an extrovert. She was loved by many, and will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.
