Darrell Jeffrey Haslip, age 51, of San Francisco, CA, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024.
Born on December 10th, 1972, in Owatonna, MN he was the son of Ronald Haslip and Susan Griffis. Darrell graduated from Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School in 1991 and relocated to San Francisco in 2006. Darrell bartended and was the most passionate about playing pool. In his free time, he was often found photographing landmarks in the bay area, conversing with neighbors and friends, and animal sitting. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan and enjoyed attending the Vikings game at U.S. Bank Stadium this past fall with family.
Darrell is survived by his father, Ronald Haslip of Waterville, MN and mother, Susan Griffis of Moreno Valley, CA, five siblings, Janean (Ronnie) Wolf of Waterville, MN, twin brother, Jason Haslip of Minneapolis, MN, James (Aja) Haslip of Riverside, CA, Jana Hodge of Perry, OK, and Samantha (Jeremy) Gauthier of Owatonna, MN, six stepsiblings, many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Darrell is preceded in death by his grandparents, stepmother JoAnn Haslip, and uncles, Robert and Gregory Haslip.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
