David J. Furrer, 63, died unexpectedly on August 4, 2024 in San Francisco, CA in his home. He was born on Feb 9, 1961 in San Mateo, CA to mother Georgia Furrer and father Louis “Jack” Furrer.

He is survived by his daughter, Anais Zuniga, sister Julie Panelli, and her husband Steve Panelli, along with niece Danielle Panelli and nephew Michael Panelli. A Bay Area local and native, his life was lived in service and kindness, including 20 years in the US Army. A true gentleman, he was known for his sense of humor, intelligence and friendly disposition towards all who knew him personally and professionally.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues, but he will never be forgotten. The family will be having a private celebration of life end of September.
