Mary Elizabeth MacCoy, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at her home on August 20, 2024 due to a short battle with leukemia.

She was born September 18, 1949 in San Francisco, California to Paul Wayne and Alma Elizabeth MacCoy.

Mary loved many things in life, gardening, shopping, going out to eat, short trips to the casino, time with her grandchildren, napping with her cats and her dedicated phone calls with family and friends. Although these things brought her much joy and love, her greatest love was her children.

For many years, Mary worked for PVUSD bringing smiles to children’s faces and opening her heart to the less fortunate. It suited her servant, heart, and soul.

Mary is survived by her four children and 10 grandchildren. All of these lives she loved and touched deeply.
